Some people have a few hours to give. Some have food or goods to share. Others can provide funding, services or ongoing product support. Every contribution helps good food reach further and strengthens the communities around us.

Volunteers are at the heart of Love Soup. They help us rescue food, sort donations, prepare food, support community meals, pack food parcels and keep the day-to-day work moving.
You do not need to know exactly where you fit before you apply. Tell us a little about yourself, your availability and the activities you are interested in, and the team can help match you with suitable volunteer opportunities.

Donations help Love Soup rescue, sort and share food across the communities we support. You can contribute financially, donate quality surplus food or goods, or help with practical supplies used by our teams. Financial donations cover the running costs of our fleet of rescue vehicles and our operating overheads. Because all of our team are volunteers, every dollar goes towards getting food to where it needs to be.
If Love Soup receives more donated food or goods than it can use directly, surplus is shared with other local organisations supporting people in need.

Food rescue only works when businesses and communities work together. Love Soup partners with supermarkets, growers, bakeries, manufacturers, hospitality businesses and other organisations able to donate food, goods, services or funding.
Support can be one-off or ongoing. We will work with you to find a practical way for your organisation to support Love Soup and the communities we serve.
