Partner with Love Soup

Food rescue means collecting good quality surplus food from supermarkets, growers and suppliers before it is thrown away, then redistributing it to people and communities who can use it. It reduces waste and helps families at the same time.

Anyone. The pantries are free and open to the whole community. We simply ask that you take only what you need for your household and leave some for others.

Food parcel availability varies by region and demand. The best first step is to follow your local Love Soup Facebook page or contact your local team, who can let you know what is currently available and how to order.

Yes. Everything we rescue is checked and sorted by our trained volunteers before it is shared. We only pass on food that is good, safe and fit to eat.

Get in touch through our partnership form and your local team will arrange collection. We can set up regular scheduled pickups or one off collections, and we handle food safely from door to door.

Love Soup Charitable Trust is a registered New Zealand charity, registration number CC49692. Financial donations of $5 or more are eligible for a donation tax credit, and we can provide a receipt.
